The Alpha Bed: Steel bed frame (SBF)
Our Alpha bed system is a tough engineered, universal, structural steel bed frame with double overlap steel stiffeners. The Alpha model is complete with our foldaway leg system and is designed to exceed the strength of wood or aluminium as well as meet residential and commercial specifications for ear and strength. Our Alpha bed frames are made for use with single, double, queen, or king size beds and the versatility of the design gives the user the option to mount the frame in the vertical or horizontal mode. Special frame sizes also available in your sizes and colour finishes.

All sizes of the Alpha bed system include our heavy duty, universal, easy-operation SBLM spring mechanism. Designed for everyday use, this mechanism allows for varying spring combinations in order to balance all bed sizes, from single to king and creates easy fingertip operation. It means no compromise on comfort, and effortless operation.
Steel bed frame

engineered steel sections - Stiffener sections included in required sizes to brace the front panel and give support and rigidity
- Available in all standard lengths from stock, prepared in complete kits or seperately in bulk, and also special lengths for your project size
- Enables you to create all sizes in vertical or horizontal layout

- Heavy duty mechanism tested to thousands of cycles, rigorously tested for wear and strength
- Adjustable tension to balance perfectly and safely, permitting easiest operation regardless of mattress selected. No compromise - users will not know they are on a wallbed....unless they see it open and close
- precision made using non ferrous bearings and oversize bushes for long life
- specially designed springs made from alloy steels and heattreated, out performing gas lifts, on wear and strength, with adjustability - modern test lab monitors spring performace performance

The frame
HEAVY DUTY STEEL FRAME: Engineered to outperform aluminium or wood components. Rugged, lifetime durability.
PRECISE: Takes the guesswork out of wall bed manufacturing and assembly. The exact equation to bring the cabinet and the lift mechanism together.
COMPACT: Reduces the cabinet depth to 16" or less. Eliminates protrusions and saves valuable floor space.
LIGHTER AND STRONGER: Remove up to 100 lbs from some systems and have a stronger, more precise product.
ADAPTABILITY: Specifically engineered for use with leading wall bed mechanisms. No guesswork on hole drilling to combine the frame with the lift mechanism.
VERTICAL OR HORIZONTAL: The frame is precision machined to not only adapt to various mechanisms, the frame also is interchangeable as a vertical or horizontal bed.
STRENGTH AND LOAD: Three stiffeners ensure the strongest bed base possible. Stiffeners are notched to overlap the frame for maximum load bearing. Test to 2000 lbs dead weight load.
TRIP-FREE© FOLDAWAY LEGS: No strings or cords. A leg system similar to systems costing many times more. A touch of the finger and in seconds the leg and the bed fold away.
